Up until now, I’ve written numerous reviews on watches, covering almost every Swiss brand. Among them, Panerai was my favorite for a long time. However, after reviewing so many of their models, I’ve started to tire of their round cases. Recently, I’ve found myself more drawn to Hublot, particularly the unique porthole-shaped case. Despite the Hublot Big Bang having a large 44mm case, it surprisingly fits my thin wrist quite well.
The Hublot Big Bang replica watch I’m reviewing here comes from the V6 factory, and it’s a full-black Big Bang from an older collection. I’ve never introduced this particular model before, but I find it quite captivating. It’s definitely an attention-grabber, and I think some people will appreciate the bold, full-black aesthetic of this Hublot. This Big Bang model perfectly showcases Hublot’s “fusion” watchmaking concept, with its use of at least three different materials.
The 44mm case is primarily black ceramic, though only the four lugs are polished black ceramic, while the middle section of the case is brushed stainless steel. The bezel is made entirely of titanium, with polished stainless steel screws securing it. On the caseback, you’ll find engravings for “Ceramic,” “Titanium,” and the Hublot logo, etched on the connector between the case and the strap.
The dial is excellently crafted, with a well-organized, layered design that’s characteristic of high-quality replica watches. The black base dial seamlessly blends with the black ceramic case and rubber strap, while the three-dimensional hour markers, in stainless steel, perfectly complement the titanium bezel. Each small sub-dial is intricately finished and functions just like the genuine Hublot Big Bang. The date window, located at 4:30, has the correct construction and font thickness, with a white font that enhances visibility on the all-black dial.
Finally, the replica Hublot comes with an Asian Valjoux 7750 movement, a popular Chinese chronograph movement used in many replica watches. While it’s not a high-end movement, it’s quite reliable. The V6 factory decorates the movement plates and auto rotor to resemble the genuine HUB4100. This decorated movement is often referred to as the clone HUB4100. It’s worth noting that the clone HUB4100 differs from the P.9000 movement developed by the VS factory. While the clone HUB4100 is simply decorated to resemble the original, the clone P.9000 is an independent development based on Panerai’s P.9000 caliber. Due to technical limitations, achieving a perfect clone of the HUB4100 is impossible, so this replica is the closest available option.
Overall, this Hublot replica is a solid piece, with quality that’s on par with the Classic Fusion models made by WWF and F16. If you’re looking for a chronograph, the Hublot Big Bang is definitely one I recommend.
